ZusammenfassungThe project comprises the investigation of the long-term impact of SARS-CoV-2 infections on the plasma proteome signatures. Therefore, nearly 3000 proteins will be measured in plasma samples of two time points (baseline and first re-examination) from 528 participants of the NAKO study center Augsburg. Subsequent statistical analyses will investigate alterations in the proteome signatures between the two time points induced by SARS-CoV-2 infection. Additional analyses will examine alterations in the proteome between before and after the vaccination against COVID-19 and proteomic changes related to the negative health consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown measures.
