ZusammenfassungOral contraceptives (OC) are the contraceptive method of choice in Europe. The most prominent side effects are nausea, dizziness and mood changes. However, the reasons why some women experience immense side effects while other women are able to use OCover decades are still elusive. Inter alia, several studies suggested to investigate the impact of different psychpathological histories and different OC compounds, to differentiate between OC users, never and ex-users and to compare OC use with other contraceptive methods.
