ZusammenfassungAs climate change accelerates, its repercussions on socio-demographic patterns and public health are becoming increasingly evident. The studies underpinning this project aim to contribute to the growing body of work within the climate-migration-health nexus. The complex interplay between these factors will be explored in-depth with the aim to identify effective strategies for supporting vulnerable and transitioning communities within Germany in adapting to these challenges. The leading research team for this project comprises a team of Scientists from the Centre for Preventive and Digital Health (Division Prevention of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Diseases) at the Medical Faculty Mannheim University of Heidelberg. The expected outcomes of the analysis will drive evidence-based recommendations for policymakers, NGOs and other stakeholders working in the relevant areas.
