ZusammenfassungThis project will investigate the bidirectional association between sarcopenic obesity and cognitive impairment in middle-aged and older adults. We will hereby assess the associations of all diagnostic components of sarcopenic obesity (grip strength, muscle mass, and body fat) with different cognitive impairment domains (memory, executive function, and manual dexterity) using causal inference methods.
