SummaryEvidence from some Western countries suggests that migrants are at an increased risk of metabolic syndrome (MetS) and its components. The planned study “Feasibility of Assessing Ethnic Differences in the Frequency of Metabolic Syndrome in the German National Cohort Study, Bremen" has the following objective: - Explore whether metabolic syndrome can be assessed using the local NAKO data in Bremen. This is a feasibility study for a larger analysis using the national NAKO data.
