SummaryUsing population-based magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data from the NAKO-MRI study, we aim to investigate associations between systemic inflammation and cardiac remodelling, and to explore whether inflammation may mediate the associations between visceral adipose tissue (VAT) and cardiac adipose tissue (CAT) and cardiac remodelling. We will also explore sex-specific differences and the role of menopause in these associations.
